Installation & DIY

Can I install AcreLine fencing myself?

Yes! The Interlock system is made for straightforward DIY installs – minimal tools or fixings required.

Do I need concrete for installing the posts?

Not necessarily. We recommend using a post-hole borer and backfilling with compacted soil for best results. Gate Posts should be concreted in place.

Do I need fixings to secure the rails?

Usually not. The rails interlock into the post rebates, with only occasional screws needed for angled joins, or in some cases the rails may need a screw under the rail into the post for stability i.e. a gate post.

Can I create curves or angles in my fence layout?

Yes, you can install on curves and angles by adjusting the rail ends to suit.

Can the fence be installed on sloped or uneven ground?

Absolutely. All systems can be adapted to sloping or undulating ground with minor onsite modifications.
